ZB2 Microcontroller Board
Features
- Compatible with the Arduino development tools and libraries.
- Thru-hole ATmega328. Replaceable and upgradeable.
- XBee interface socket.
- RTC Features
- Real-Time Clock (RTC) counts Seconds,
Minutes, Hours, Day, Date, Month, and Year
with Leap-Year Compensation Valid Up to
2100
- Two Time-of-Day Alarms
- Programmable Square-Wave Output
- Backup power from a CR1220 coin cell.
- I2C Serial Interface
- 3.3V Linear Regulator (800mA). Powered from a wall-adapter (SMD and TH Kits) or
the USB interface (SMD kit only).
- 5V ± 200mV @ 100mA boost converter (SMD Kit)
- Board can be built with an FTDI interface (SMD Kit) or with
a six pin header for an FTDI TTL-232R-3V3 cable (TH Kit).
- All I/O pins on one I/O connector strip. I/O is compatible with
the ZB1/NB1x boards are peripherals.
- A/D reference supply filtered per Atmel specification.
- Reset circuit per Atmel specification.
- Debug LED that can be jumpered to Pin 7 or 3.3V.

ZB2 Sensor and Thermocouple Interface
Features
- Compatible with the ZB2, NB1x and ZB1.
- Two K-type thermocouple channels
- Industry standard K-type thermocouple connectors
- Cold-junction compensation
- 14-bit resolution (0.25°C)
- Detects open-thermocouple and thermocouple shorts to GND and VCC.
- SPI Interface
- 5V 100mA boost converter
- Two SPI terminal blocks -- 5V, 3.3V, MOSI, MISO, SCK, CS, GND
- One I2C terminal block -- 5V, 3.3V, SDA, SCL, GND
