Question

When I try to upload using arduino 0018 I keep getting an error message stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00

Answer

Here are some things to check ---

1. Did you select the proper USB port?
2. Did you update boards.txt to add your wiblocks board(s)? See Updating your boards.txt file
3. What position is the switch S2 in? To upload S2 needs to be in the USB position.
4. If you do not have the USB port configured to set /RTS on close you need to press the reset button. Try pressing the reset button just before the download. If the download then works you need to setup your USB port to set /RTS on close.
